Swypie needs photo library permission to work. Go to Settings → Swypie → Photos and choose Full Access. If you picked Limited Access, Swypie only sees the photos you selected — tap "Select More Photos" to add others, or switch to Full Access to cull your whole library.
Yes. Deleted photos aren't gone immediately — they move to Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps them for 30 days. Open that album, select the photo, and tap Recover. You can also use the in‑app Undo during a session before you commit deletions.
For your safety, iOS shows a single confirmation prompt when an app deletes photos. Swypie collects your left‑swipes during a session and submits them as one batch at the end, so you confirm once instead of for every photo. Nothing is deleted until you confirm that prompt.
Swypie loads photos on demand and prepares the next few in advance, but the first scan of a large library (and the Clean Up duplicate/similar scan) can take a little time. Let it finish once; subsequent sessions are faster. Keeping the app in the foreground during a scan helps.
Yes — everything stays on your device. Swypie has no servers and collects no data. See the Privacy Policy.
